Monday I cannot count the number of times I have made this Chicken and Mushroom Strognaoff. My kids love it and will eat it just about every day if I served it to them. We like it served over noodles but rice would go down well also.
Tuesday This Leek and Potato soup is so simple and is always comforting for this time of year. I made it last week after it being shelved for probably a year. It is easy to make things and then completely forget about them. That is one of the many wonderful things about writing this blog, I have my own recipe index now!
Wednesday If you love fish, these Fresh Cod Fish Cakes should be on your menu. I can't express how easy and delicious they are. I should not be shocked when I say they are the number one viewed recipe on my blog! You never know what people are going to be the most interested in when you start writing, and sometimes you can be surprised. This time of year, we like to serve these with roasted vegetables.
Thursday Seriously great Payella. A lot of people associate payella with labour intensive stock and exotic seafood. Well, mine isn't quite like that! This payella is family friendly, the stock usually comes from a carton and I add herbs and spices.
Friday These Simple Spicy Beef Tacos are so easy and honestly very tasty. A great way to end off a long work week. We had them this past week for lunch on Friday and they were all done in 15 minutes. So, a very very easy dinner. You could always make a big salad or nacho plate to make it more of a Friday night dinner.
