Another week and another menu. Again, this week there is no particular theme apart from lots of great dishes. If you happen to be reading this from anywhere in Canada, Happy Thanksgiving! Hope it was a great one and you have lots of leftovers! Speaking of leftovers, there is a great Turkey Wrap recipe here for using just that, leftovers. Although I say it myself, it was probably the best wrap I have ever eaten. Seriously. And that is a pretty big statement to make for sure. Don't take my word for it, give it a try. Monday I have discovered a new found love for quinoa. This particular Snow Pea and Carrot Quinoa Stir Fry is a very quick and easy mid week dinner. From start to the table in just under half and hour. Great for busy evenings! Suitable for many restricted diets as well.
Tuesday If you happen to be in Canada, you just might have some leftover turkey on your hands. These Grown up Turkey Wraps with a Dill Sauce might just be what you are looking for today!
Also, I am calling them grown up wraps because they have walnuts, apples, manchego cheese and Dill Sauce along with a whole bunch of other stuff. I can honestly say hands down this is the BEST sandwich (err...wrap) I have eaten in a long time. And I mean the best!
Wednesday Why not give this hearty Italian Sausage and Tomato Stew a try this week! Easy to make, warming, and full of goodness. Serve with some crusty bread or rolls for a complete dinner.
Thursday These Chicken Sandwiches are an absolute favourite in our house. In fact, I would go so far as to say it is what I cook the most often. Fact! With the caramelized onions, roasted peppers, crisp tomatoes and garlicky chicken, you just can't go wrong.
Friday Okay so this Breaded Perch with a Curry Mayonnaise Dipping Sauce is just bursting with flavour. And I am not a fan of mayonnaise, but in this dish, I really did love it. All done in 30 minutes as well, so an easy way to head into the weekend.
Saturday Who doesn't love a good ol' plate of nachos. Well, as much as I love them, I never ever make them. Like ever. I would say these Loaded Veggie Nachos are the first nachos I have made in years. And boy, are they worth it. Get them this weekend!
Sunday this is a great take on a traditional Sunday roast. All in on pan and loaded with flavour, this Roasted Moroccan Chicken dinner will be one sure to please. This dish can be made in advance and put in the fridge until ready to roast. Makes for a easy Sunday dinner.
Dessert You can never ever go wrong with a brownie. Make it a Cream Cheese Brownie and you have hit gold. Another favourite in our house that I have made more times than I can count. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a proper over the top dessert!
