When we were kids I remember waffles popping out of a toaster. I had no clue whatsoever there was any other kind!!! Really, no lie. Now.....I know they can come straight off a waffle iron. No popping needed.
Makes 6 waffles
Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk to combine and set aside.
In a small bowl, combine eggs, milk and the melted butter. Whisk to combine.
Add milk mixture to the dry ingredients and whisk until combine.
In a preheated waffle maker, pour batter in until the bottom is completely covered. Put lid down and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until golden and risen. Remove waffle and repeat for further waffles.
I like mine with butter and maple syrup. However, the toppings are endless. So, serve yours with your favourite topping!
