These are so easy and delicious with almost anything! We served them alongside steak and fried potatoes for our last camping meal. Oh, we also did jumbo lemon shrimp. So, sad my camera decided to call it quits before I could snap those bites. I will make them at home again, and share recipes properly. You can see other camping food over at the Camp Food post. This particular mushroom dish, if you want to call it that, it done in no time at all and tastes very, very good! Garlic Mushrooms
Serves 4 Ingredients 1 pint of good sized mushrooms, ends trimmed and slices 3-4 Garlic cloves, crushed 2 Tablespoons of olive oil Fresh ground black pepper Sea Salt Method Heat the olive oil in a large skillet set over high heat for about 30 seconds until hot. Add the mushrooms and garlic and give a good stir. Continue cooking on a high heat for about 2 -3 minutes or until you notice the mushrooms starting to brown. Now lower your heat to medium and continue cooking until the mushrooms are cooked and a lovely golden brown. This will take about 10 minutes. Sprinkle over sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Stir again and then they are ready to serve!!!
