Dessert doesn't always have to be difficult or time consuming. Sometimes, it can take minutes to make and you are done! How wonderful is that. As much as I love making most things from scratch and labouring over desserts, there isn't always time. These Nutella pastries are perfect for those days when you want a sweet treat but don't have all that time. Light and flaky on the outside and creamy chocolate on the inside. A great way to start a Monday morning I say! Did I say dessert?
I got another step by step for you here today. I am considering doing more of these, well considering! I know this is an easy recipe (well if you can call it a recipe), but sometimes the pictures help when dealing with explaining what to do with pastry. You will see in the photos below that these are so easy to make. The other week we made them and the kids did it all themselves. So, easy they are indeed.
Sometimes it is nice to make something at home that takes only minutes and you can reap the benefits of saying "home made". Okay, I am not 100% certain these fall into the category of home made since they use jar Nutella and frozen puff pastry, but why not! When I was growing up, a cake out of a box was considered home made, so we are calling these home made with love today!
Now, have a look how easy these are to put together and you just might be knocking up a batch real soon.
Fresh out of the oven these are piping hot and divine!!! But then we realized they are just as good once they cooled off, if not better. I'll let you decide!
A little sneaky look inside of what to expect. Yum! The kids love these and I gotta say they are pretty tasty for store bought ingredients. Don't worry I am not about to fall down the hole of 5 minute recipes, but they can be rewarding.
Next time you are in the mood for a quick treat, and have these ingredients on hand, give the little bites a whirl. Oh, you can even freeze them and put them the toaster straight from the freezer. We did this a few weeks back and it worked really well. Another great idea for weekend treats for the kids or for yourselves.
Happy Monday everyone!
