A velvety rich soup with hearty vegetables and aromatic turmeric for flavour. If you are looking for a new easy soup to add to your winter collection, give this one a try. Could be a great way to head into December!
Sometimes, you just need a little bit of a kick. By a little, I mean just the right amount as to not set you on fire! These tacos have hit the fine balance with just the right amount of heat, flavour and deliciousness! By using store bought piri piri seasoning, these are no fuss and are put together in no time at all. Just in time for Taco Tuesday!
If you are not into making your own bread, why not start! It isn't nearly difficult as you many think and once you get started, it actually becomes fun. This Rustic White Bread Loaf Bread is a great one to go with soups and stews with the winter months ahead.
Stuffing just has to be one of the best parts of a turkey dinner. Traditionally, I have always used fine bread crumbs in stuffing, but this time tired something a little different. This stuffing recipe uses small cubed bread and is loaded with cranberries, apples and walnuts for so much flavour!
Last Monday, I failed with the meal plan due to zero Internet access. By the time we got it back, we were well on our way to the end of the week. Clearly too late to post a weekly meal plan. So here we have last week's meal plan just a week late. Ha!
My favourite dish for this week has to be Mike's Chicken Curry. If you love Indian food (or Indian inspired food), this is a must try recipe. Okay, it is a bit on the hot side, like just a bit! However, it is full of real deep flavours and has quite possibly become my favourite chicken curry. Take a look at it. If hot food isn't your thing, I don't advise you to make it. My son pretty much runs away when we make it. No joke!
Apart from that, there are lots of other delights this week, including a hearty pasta dish, baked fish and more.
Happy Monday and Happy Cooking!
