I was planning to start the deluge of Christmas Cookie postings today, but it had to be put on hold for this! This is seriously easy and so delicious. Using store bought puff pastry this Apple Danish takes no time at all. I couldn't wait to post it because I think everyone should have this super easy recipe today. The apple filling is mouth watering, the pasty light and crispy and the glaze, sweet. Danish perfection!
You probably noticed by now that I love fish cakes. I would day I am a Fish Cake Aficionado! This take on my regular Fresh Cod Fish Cakes is probably my new favourite right now. The parsley sauce....ooohhhh, it is a real winner of a combination. Great enough for your fish loving guests if you are having a dinner party and easy enough for a mid week dinner.
Who doesn't love potato wedges! Well, I am no stranger to them and absolutely love them however they are put together. Cover them in cheese and bacon and well, delicious! Perfect rainy day food which is great at the moment because it's kind of torrential. So start the fire, pour a glass and dig in!
First things first, this recipe uses left over turkey. Yes, leftovers. As much as I love leftovers and eat them all the time, they don't often make a feature on the blog. Usually because they (a) eaten just the way they were cooked or (b) certainly not photogenic enough! The latter is quite often the case.
These grown up wraps were the exception to the rule because aren't they pretty? Pretty and grown up. I am calling them grown up wraps because they have walnuts, apples, manchego cheese and Dill Sauce along with a whole bunch of other stuff. I can honestly say hands down this is the BEST sandwich (err...wrap) I have eaten in a long time. And I mean the best!
