I really do love shrimp and I thought this was quite yummy. I think the dip really made the dish. However, after thinking about it today I think you could also serve them with fresh squeezed lemon. Try what you prefer the best!
These are just so delicious! I can't express how delicious they are through words, so you are going to have to make them for yourself. I made these for the first time at a party two summers ago and I loved them then and I still love them now. Last night I served them at a small dinner party. That is written about over in the Entertaining Friends post.
The idea for this cocktail came from The Pioneer Woman. I did not follow that recipe exactly, so I kind of came up with my own version. However, I did do the sugar lime rim exactly as she did in hers. So delicious!
I absolutely love hummus. It is great as a dip, in sandwiches and to accompany many dishes. As much as I love regular hummus, this is a nice alternative for when you want to switch things up a bit. The roasted peppers really give it a sweet flavour. Really nice. This was a dip served at the dinner on the Entertaining Friends post.
It was a busy day yesterday.
Last night I hosted a small dinner for a few special ladies. It was an evening full of food, drinks and lots of laughter. There is not much that gives me more pleasure than making food for people I care about.
